Coleman Montessori Center at Burrville Cider Mill

The children, parents and staff of Coleman Montessori Center truly enjoyed our tour of Burrville Cider Mill and the sweet cider and donuts. We kindly thank you!

Burrville Cider Mill's tour guide shared that all apples are inspected and washed before going through the process of making cider.

Apples are first made into applesauce which includes all parts of the apple. The children are looking at and touching the texture of the applesauce. The applesauce is pressed to make juice for cider. The dried applesauce is used to feed farm animals. Nothing goes to waste!

Thank you Burrville Cider Mill for a fun and educational tour. We look forward to coming back next school year.
